Camera and Lens Tests in Association with CML
Between 2014 and 2016, UWE Bristol hosted several professional camera and lens tests in association with the Cinematography Mailing List (CML). These connected with an ongoing series of evaluations by CML’s founder Geoff Boyle FBKS and were organised by Professor Terry Flaxton, Dr Sarah Sparke and facilitated by Dave Neal in conjunction with visiting practitioners.
Representatives from camera manufacturers Panasonic and AJA visited during the tests while rental facilities VMI and 24-7 Drama provided support and equipment. Results from the tests were presented at the industry focused NAB conference in Las Vegas during 2014 and 2015.
